How long have you lived in the Carolinas and where are you from originally?

I have never lived anywhere other than the Carolinas.  I grew up in Aiken, South Carolina.  I'm a 5th generation Aikenite, and my two baby girls are 6th generation South Carolinians.  Other cities I've lived in are Columbia, Greenwood (SC), Charlotte, Greensboro, and currently Charleston.  

What is your favorite thing about the Carolinas?

I love the history within these two states; I didn't realize how unique this region is in terms of preserved history until a friend from Oregon pointed out that the historical architecture and landmarks don't date back a far in the northwest as they do on the east coast; history is rich here and I love how preserving it is treasured here.  

I love that you can visit the mountains and the ocean all in half a day's drive at most!

How long have you been blogging?

I've been blogging for a little over 2 years now.

What is your favorite thing about blogging?

I love that blogging brings people together all over the world and creates a common thread among us: to inspire, be inspired, and to document this one life we've been given to share with the world and our families.  Writing is accessible to everyone; it's one of the rare things in this world that creates a level playing field for everyone regardless of things like career, income, and social status.   I have made some dear friends through the blogging community and I love that my little girls will have pieces of my thoughts from this season of our lives to reflect back on when they grow up.

Give a brief description of your blog.

Over at Sincerely Alli , you'll find alot of stories about motherhood and how it's changed my life in both big and small ways.  You'll also find my thoughts on my faith, marriage, friendship, fashion and things that inspire me.  I have fallen in love with the South Carolina coast and photography so you'll see pieces of my journey with these two interests as well.

Where do I begin?  I love that North Carolina has it all...the beach, the mountains, city life, country life...the best of everything!

I've been blogging for about 3 years now.

Blogging gives me an amazing opportunity to create and it provides a platform for me to share things that are close to my heart.

How long have you lived in the Carolinas and where are you from originally?

I have lived on Hilton Head Island, SC since July of 2013 (approaching one year as a Southern belle!). I am originally from Cape Cod, MA where the beaches are beautiful, but the winters are much colder!

What is your favorite thing about the Carolinas?

Southern charm! The community on Hilton Head Island is wonderful, and my husband and I have been welcomed with open arms at our local yacht club and onto a fabulous tennis team. We love spending time on our beach and biking all over the island. On our to do list: learn how to golf better! 

How long have you been blogging?

I have been blogging at Pink Champagne since January of 2010 – time has flown!

What is your favorite thing about blogging?

The connections and friendships I have made through the blogging world are amazing! I also enjoy having a creative outlet and a space to share my favorite things (almost always fashion-focused).

Give a brief description of your blog/and or shop.

I am the author of Pink Champagne and owner of the online shop Pink Bubbly. Pink Champagne is a fashion blog where I showcase my favorite styles, usually pink, printed, or monogrammed. Pink Bubbly is the place where you can shop for these very things! It is an online jewelry shop filled with pretty statement necklaces, bracelets and bangles, and earrings. I have recently launched a full monogram shop, where you can personalize necklaces, cuffs, bracelets, clutches, and hats. Pop the bubbly!

How long have you lived in the Carolinas and where are you from originally from?

I have lived in the Carolinas for about 7 years. I originally moved to South Carolina to be closer to my parents and finish school at the University of South Carolina. I most recently moved to North Carolina after getting married. My dad was in the Navy so as a child I moved around a lot but the majority of my life we lived in Coronado, California, a small beach town in San Diego.

What is your favorite thing about the Carolinas?

I love everything about the Carolinas.  I love that you can spend one day hiking a waterfall and the next meandering down a cobblestone street rich with history. I love that everyone dresses up for football games. I love the food, especially oyster roasts and barbeque. I love that you can dip your toes in the Atlantic and it’s warm (something California beaches are missing).

How long have you been blogging?

I have been blogging for about a year and a half now, I can’t believe how time flies.

What is your favorite thing about blogging?

As sappy as it sounds, the community. I love meeting people with similar and not so similar lives. I am constantly finding inspiration from other bloggers about faith, marriage, teaching and fashion. I love that I have found such an uplifting little pocket of the internet and am always so excited to read, laugh and learn from others on this blogging adventure.

Tell us a little about your blog.

 My blog originally started as a way to share information with our (my husband was actually the one who started it, being the computer savvy man he is) wedding. It has since morphed into a place that is reflective of who I am. A place where I talk about date nights with the hubster, Art Education, Jesus, clothes I wear (mostly thrifted), and projects I make.

How long have you lived in the Carolinas and where are you from originally from?

I’ve lived in the beautiful Palmetto state all of my life. I’m originally and currently living in the Upstate of South Carolina. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. I’m a short ride from the mountains and only 3 hours away from Charleston, my second home.

What is your favorite thing about the Carolinas?

Even though we’ve had some crazy weather recently I love our warm weather and sticky summers. There is just something special about living in the Carolinas. This is home to me and I have to say we have a different way of life that I love!

How long have you been blogging?

Little Lady in the South will be celebrating its 1-year anniversary of blogging on June 3^rd! It has been a really interesting learning experience starting a blog but it’s a wonderful creative outlet and I’ve been able to connect with some amazing women.

What is your favorite thing about blogging?

Sharing my absolutely random thoughts: I don’t think I fit a particular “blogger mold” so I call myself a lifestyle blogger. I thrive on reader’s comments; if they ask for a recipe I make sure to write a new post with a recipe!

Give a brief description of your blog.

Little Lady in the South is where I blog about my life as a recent college graduate planning a wedding and being thankful everyday for living in the South. The best way to describe my blog is a southern lifestyle blog. You’ll find everything from outfit inspiration to party planning or even beauty product reviews. My goal is for my readers to grab their glass of sweet tea, sit on their front porch, and read Little Lady in the South.

Seeking monthly contributors!

Well hello!
Long time, no post, I know!

As you can see, spring is peeking in on Charleston and the next few weeks are sure to be gorgeous! Charleston is sort of known for it's gardens so spring is a pretty big deal around here.

I assure you we have been working hard behind the scenes to get this blogger network up.
Starting a project like this from scratch has proven to be more tedious than I ever imagined.  The technical side of blogging and websites is something that stretches my patience on a daily basis.  I'm a long term thinker; people like me are called dreamers.  Justin (my husband) is a short term thinker; we tend to refer to people like him as detail oriented.  Thank God we are opposites in that sense because without him, this network would still be a dream bouncing around in my head!

I wrote a post a couple of months ago about what this network will offer here .
We are excited to announce that we are now looking for monthly contributors to showcase this coveted region of the world!  At this time, we are not offering compensation, however you will receive free sidebar advertising for 3 months.
